SAN FRANCISCO,  September, 2010 (CSA) – The Cloud Security Alliance is now soliciting input for Version 2.0 of its “Top Threats to Cloud Computing Report.” This pending revision is the first to Version 1.0, which was published and announced earlier this year RSA Conference 2010. The report is a peer-reviewed paper that examines the most recent top threats that cover the three cloud domains (Iaas, SaaS, and PaaS), and provides pragmatic remediation strategies, regarding the processing and storing of all manner of sensitive data in the cloud.

This Top Threats working group leaders, Dan Hubbard of Websense and Michael Sutton of Zscaler, seek input from all corners, including from non-members of the Cloud Security Alliance and any of its working groups. Potential contributors are asked to:

1) Circulate this message to other potential contributors (corporate members, please take note), and
2) Read Version 1.0 of the report, then
3) On or by September 24, 2010 submit your ideas via the Top Threats Submission Form (and via no other means please)

The Cloud Security Alliance thanks HP for their assistance in underwriting this research effort.
